Backup Exec requests new media - why?

Doing a backup to an Iomega 120Gb Rev external USB drive using Backup Exec 12.5.1

Backup Exec requests that I insert new media after 25Gb has been backed up. As usual, the Symantec message is less than forthcoming as to why it would like me to do this. 

How would I find out? Does it think it is full (it's not - it is an empty disc)? Is there a setting 'Request New Media When Current Media is 20% Full" or "Annoy End User With New Media Requests at Random Intervals"?

I'm looking for the "Actually Provide Some Useful Information in the Dialog Boxes" option, but I can't find it yet. Maybe it is an option for v13 :)

Are the backup "chunks" set to be 25GB in your B2D options? If it was the case and the job was set to Overwrite perhaps this may occur.
Also what is the setting for your media management in options? Is it full, partial or none? Is it set to prompt before overwriting new media?

My Backup-to-disk (B2D?) option are as follows :

Maximum number of backup sets - 100
Maximum size for backup-to-disk files : 4Gb
Allow the maximum size when creating the backup-to-disk file - unchecked.

Concurrent operations
Allow 1 concurrent jobs

Disk Space Management
Low disk space threshold - unchecked

Backup-to-disk default folder location : Empty


Media Management

Media Overwrite protection level - partial (Prompt checked)

Overwrite options
Overwrite scratch media before overwriting recyclable media contained in the targeted media set

Created a new job and it seemed to work OK.

I'll see if the problem is with the media when I do the next backup.
