Whenever I try to install Backup Exec v11d onto a new server it seems to complete the installation, but then at the last step performs a roll back and un-installs itself leaving a message stating "The wizard was interrupted before Veritas Backup Exec for Windows Servers could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again."
I have assured it was comletely uninstalled as per Symantec Document ID:287320 and re-attempted installation with the same result.
I have also reviewed Symantec Document ID: 269175 and I can not seem to find any of the issues covered in that document as being applicable to this situation.
I noticed that the first attempt at installation was being tried (by the local administrator of this server) while logged on as the site service account he created (bkadmin), but have since re-attempted it while logged on as the administrator - with the same result.
Any help would be wonderfully appreciated.
