Backup Failed: Access to a device was not authorized.

I purchased Backup Exec 12 a few months back and was using the trial version of the remote agents to backup my other servers.  Everything was running great.  When the remote agents expired, I purchased the keys and installed them.  However, when I try to back up my remote computers, I get this error.

The job failed with the following error: Access to a device was not authorized with this edition of Backup Exec.

What do I need to do to correct this so it will continue to backup every day?

After installing the serial on the media server, did you cycle the BackupExec services?  (stop/start them)

Open the properties of backup job that gives you the error
Click on resource credentials
And Check if you are backing up default backup exec SQL instance
You may not be able to see database in selection list graphical view
...but if you click on selections >> View selection details
you should be able to see that - delete it from there

Yes, I had rebooted the remote servers, but not the main server.  It's running the job now.  Thanks!

Silly me.
