Backup File Server with the Job Rate is very low. There's nothing else in this backup. 90% of any files are spreadsheets, docs, ppt and. Avi.

Windows 2003 server,

1 Gb Network

Tape Unit: TL2000

Tape: LTO4

Check the network performance by copying some data from the remote server to the media server.

Also Run live update multiple times and install all the lastest patches for Backup Exec, update

remote agent. Install/Update Symantec drivers for the tape drive.

Note: Job rate will be low if you are backing up large number of small files.
