Backup Media showing as cleaning media in VXA

I wanted to see if anyone might have any ideas on this issue. This morning some of the media from our daily backup media set has become part of the cleaning media set. I have tried moving the media and also going into the properties an chaning the media type from 8MMCLN to 8MM, but backup exec keeps reporting this media as CLN media.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Check the properties of the slot,if that is selected as Cleaning slot.

Also check the media type from tools > option > media management > media type ..
