Is it possible to make backup between 2 Veritas Backup Exec. Servers 9.1 SBS?

My setup:

Location 1

Veritas Backup Exec. 9.1 Small Business Server
Windows 2003 Small Business Server
DSL-line with VPN connecting to locations 2.

Location 2

Veritas Backup Exec. 9.1 Small Business Server
Windows 2003 Small Business Server
DSL-line with VPN connecting to locations 1.

I tried to push out the remoute agent from location 1 to location 2, but that is not possible because the server is running Veritas Backup Exec. Server/media server.

Is there at work around for this? Is it possible at all?

Do I need another special agent to make this work?

Best regards

Hi,

It is not possible to install the Remote Agent For Windows Servers on a server that is already running Backup Exec for Windows. In order to install the Remote Agent For Windows Servers you will need to uninstall Backup Exec for Windows NT and then install the agent. Or you can take backup of both the servers locally!
