Hello,

Initially please check for pending alerts from the alerts tab and respond to them
2]Ensure sufficient amount of space is available on the tape for the backup job.

3]Create a new backup job. Create a small selection list and take backup.Verify if the media ejects after the backup.

4]To isolate this issue take the backup by using Windows NTbackup and check if the tape ejects.

Thanks,

might be the tapedevice driver.
Had this once with VS80 tape drive using microsoft P&P driver. After changing to veritas driver the problem was gone.
If you are already using veritas or third party driver, try updating them to the latest available one.
