I have a server that is running SQL 2000 and SQL 2005
The backup job now fails with the error's
An error occurred on a query to database msdb.
V-79-57344-33938 - BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.
The item DB03\msdb in use - skipped.

I have seen a similar thread for a conflict between sql 7.0 and 2000 but does anyone have a workaround for 2000 and 2005
