Backup failes but job logs looks fine with exception of skipped files

It's the *.pst files. The files are in use, Backup Exec cannot fully back them up, reports them as corrupt, and corrupt files are reported as a failure.

Couple of possibilities-

use this link to stop 'corrupt' files from being reported as failed: http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/193940.htm This removes the failure- but these PST are not likely restorable.

Purchase & use the Open File Option.

Try the backup at a different time (late at night)
