Hello,

My backup failes every day. As I can see in the log file there is a problem with the remote backup agent service. I'm using BackupExec for Windows Server 11d. I searched the web for a solution an found a post regarding exluding the folder c:\windows\system32\wbem.
The error code that i get in the log file is:
V-79-57344-65072
V-79-57344-34110
V-79-57344-3844
Any ideas how to fix this problem.

Brgds,

Sandro Tupitti.

Can you please post the entire error as opposed to just that error code?

Have you tried to push install the agent to the \\SBS server again? Did it work?

Dear,

I already reinstalled the remote agent on \\SBS and this woked without any problems but the problem is still there.

Are you running BackupExec on the SBS server or on another server? Did you exclude the wbem directory? When testing the credentials in the selection list, does all go well? I'd suggest you create a new job in which you only backup, let's say, the Information Store. See if that works. From that point, move onward to find out where the problem originates. Could be there are to many concurrent services holding on to the data you're trying to backup for example.
