Backup to Disk w/ REV

I have searched the forums and haven't really gotten a firm answer to my question so I will post it. I have a Rev Drive and it won't overwrite the media and it will eventually fill up and fail. I have verified that the OPP settings are correct and followed the directions on another forum. The backups will start the week taking about 3-3.5 hours and by the end of the week they are taking around 12-13 hours. I think that it may be linked to the full disk but I am not positive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Backups are around 16 GB

Please elaborate whether the issue is about overwriting tapes or slow backups.

Also tell us if this happens with all backups or any particular

are you using hardware or software compression.

What is the capacity of tha tapes.
