We had to replace the AIT1 drive in our system, our vendor replaced the drive with an SDX-450V AIT Turbo drive. The drive is not listed on the 8.6 compatibility list, however listed under 10.0.
Though the drive is recognized by the Windows 2000 system, BE does not set the drive type or cartridge type. Did we miss something in the setup?
B/U's appear to executing ok as is, but the job does not finish correctly; the tape ejects, but the job does not complete, requiring an acknowledge to complete.
Has anyone tried this drive with 8.6SBS with success?
