Backup to External HDD Question

Please excuse my ignorance, but we just finished install on SBS Server 2003 and we have a 500GB External HDD; how do we setup jobs like we had on tape before, like one backup for every day in week? do i create a separate job for each day of the week? all help would be wonderful.

If you still have the old backup job in the job monitor, just setup your disk-to-disk drive for removeable storage, then in job manager go to the proerties of the old tape job and change the media path to the disk to disk.

thank you for quick reply, but we deleted all old jobs. is there no way to change this now?
