Hi
I am unable to browse DAG on backupExec 2010 even after installing exchange management tools creating service account and giving it all the rights
anyone with an idea to assist

What is the version of Exchage ?

..I take it you have the Exchange agent license installed?

we are using a trial version to proove to the client that this product can work on exchange 2010 service park 1 with six sites
if it works we will be able to sell the product to the client

an error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of zepdag(DAG NODE)
The media server could not connect to the Exchange 2010 DAG virtual node
The backup Exec remote agent must be installed and running on all notes in the DAG
Right-click the Exchange 2010 DAG virtual node and then click properties,Ensure
that the correct version of the remote agent is installed and running on the vitual node

Hi
To backup DAG please ensure you have installed remote agent on Mailbox server nodes & all CAS nodes
Aslo ensure that you have right permission to backup exchange 2010 for same check document below

Also if your are not able to expand DAG please check if you can ping virtual node from backup server if not you need to resolve the DNS issue first
Also doing all this if error still persist please attach the snap of error with also error in application tab if you see anything there
