Hi all, how are you?

I have been a problem with the backup exec, some days an error occurs constantly.

The following message appears in the log:

The job failed with the following error: Physical Volume Library Drive not available.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

What is the backup destination?

This error can come if communication to the storage device  like tape /disk is lost.

I´m using a external storage to make a backup(an external hard drive) it is recognized by the server normally.

Have you configured this External disk as a "removable backup to disk folder" or as a "Backup to disk folder"?
