Backuping file server

Hi,

We Have HP StoreEver 1/8 G2 LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 SAS Tape Autoloader + Symantec Backup Exec 15,Backup Exec Server.we are facing issue with backuping our Data server (File server).currently Symantec software installed in  DL380 G6 Server and file setting in SAN.

SAN connected in Same backup sevver through fiber channel.backuping around 3.7TBfull backup weekly base.

Backup time taken around more than oneday and writing speed is 2750 MB/Min.any solution for backuping more fast.

Not really. Make sure you have checked out the article below that pkh wrote to tune your tape drive:

Ideally you could look at backing up to disk first, and then duplicating to tape as it would mean your first backup would run across the SAN, assuming you present disk from a SAN-attached array. this would have some sort of speed benefit for you.
