Backups only show Snapshot Copy and not Snapshot Incremental or Snapshot Full

Environment:

BE 2012 Server

2 - EMC Data Domains

I had to reinstall my backup exec 2012 environment and I installed SQL Express 2008 R2 SP2.  I was able to inventory and catalog both DataDomains for the backup sets, which now show under storage.  However, when I run a full or incremental backup on servers with or without Microsoft Apps (Exchange, SQL, AD) I am getting snapshot copies instead of showing snapshot incremental or snapshot full.  I did try reinstalling the backup exec agent as well as rebooting the servers.  Though nothing is working, I did run vssadmin list writers and that shows no errors as well.

Also, the job history log shows that the "Agent Used: No" but the agent is used for Microsoft SQL.

...is BE 2012 SP2 installed on the media server? If not, consider doing this...it is uninstallable, so be aware of that!
