Im new to the whole backupexec environment and hoping someone can help speed up my backups. Im using backup exec 9.1 with an hp 1/8 autoloader.
Byte count : 126,209,031,690 bytesJob rate : 125.00 MB/Min (Byte count divided by Elapsed time for job)
Which takes 30:34:08
Any Ideas on speeding this up ?

Local or network backups? or both?
Exactly what kind of drive is it?
What are the settings for the drive for buffers?

125Mb/min isn't bad, but by no means as fast as some

From the devices tab, right click the drive\Properties
Id the drive the only thing on this controller? or at least the only device on this channel of this controller?
