I read the Administrator's Guide, but did not see these issues covered:
1. I just purchased a VIP license for BEWS 10D upgrade, plus some options upgrades. I have BENT v.8.5 running on an old server that I'm trying to decommission. How do I go about installing my upgrade onto a new server? Do I have to install the old one first?
2. The new server already had a DDS-4 internal tape drive in it that I am not going to use for BEWS. I have a new Quantum external DLT-S4 drive that I haven't installed yet that I want to use with BEWS. I do not have the Library Option. Is that going to be a problem? Do I have to do any hardware rearrangement before I install the software? Can I leave the DDS4 drive on the system for other software to use or do I have to remove it? (Our developer uses it for native SQL server backups.)
