Beserver.exe terminates with Fault in module msxml4.dll.

Hi there

Running Backup Exec 10D up to Hotfix 34.

The BEserver.exe process terminated the other night with the following corresponding message in the Application event log:

Faulting application beserver.exe, version 10.1.5629.34, faulting module msxml4.dll, version 4.20.9818.0, fault address 0x0000929a.

Has anyone encountered this error with Backup Exec 10d before? Also, is there a specific version of MSXML parser that should be used?

Hello Karim,

We will need more Information from you.
- What are you backing up when you get this error?
- Is it a Database?
- Is it a remote or a local backup?
- Do you see any other errors? Perhaps in teh job log?
- Since when are you getting this Problem? Was anything changed / added ont he system around that time?
