Bu exec and linux clients

I am having a problem with a linux box and bu exec...the backup runs for a while then errors out with this Access to the device SERVER1 is not authorized with this edition of the product...

It writes 45 gig of data and ends at the same spot each time...

any ideas?

Hello,

What is the version of Backup Exec that you are using. What is the version on ther Linux box? Have you installed the agent for Linux? Were you using the evaluation version of BE before?

Refer to the following technote in order to resolve this error:

Well I have 9.1...isnt this the 9.1 forum? It is fully patched and the client is loaded in the out of the box location.....the agent starts and runs for 45 gigs and them fails with this error?
