Byte count size differs from size on disk

I have a Ralus B2D job creating 10GB .bkf files.

When the job has completed BEWS reports that is has backed-up 980GB of data (byte count column), however, when I check the size on disk used XP reports it has taken 1.56TB of space - why the difference?

I'm aware that Linux/MS report disk size/useage differently but this seems way out.

Ignore this psot - stupid error on my behalf. Had set default to "overwrite scratch media first..." instead of "overwrite recyclable media..."
