I am new to CPS, and have a few questions.
1) I have read that when a new job starts, it has to sync to the protected data to get a base-line to start with. Is that done automatically, or does it have to be done manually?
2) Is there any way to re-direct a restore to a different business server? And for SQL/Exchange DBs, can you redirect to different servers OR different locations on the same server? Specifically, for SQL, can I redirect to a different or new DB name?
3) If you are not going to use the web-based restore, do you still need to take snapshots and index them to get point-in-time restores?
Any help at all will be appreciated....
