When installing CPS v10.1 the number supplied on the Software License Certificate fails. I have tried every number on the form and not one number works (Eventually figured out when installing Backup-Exec v10 that when prompted for "Serial Number" What is really required is the "License Key" (VERY sloppy programming, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves!)
But, I cannot find ANY number on the Software License Certificate which satifies the field 'Serial Number' when installing Continuous Protection Server.
I have called licensing and they tell me my Software License Certificate is valid, none the less the program does not recognize the number.
How do I fix this... Getting exhausted just trying to figure out your products problems... Sure wish the company was still owned by Veritas without the Symantec name... What a mistake!
