Hello,

You can follow the steps given below:
1. Create a new Backup exec service account with a new password.
2. this account should have domain admin rights on the server
3.Then go to the services tab and properties of all the Backup exec services. double click on them -logon and change them to use the new account and password.
4. The remote agent service should use the local system account only.

5. Start backup exec
6. Got to the tab 'network-logon accounts' and mention the new account as the default account.
Refer to the following technote in order to know more about the rights needed for the backup exec service account:

Title: What rights does the Backup Exec service account need?
http://support.veritas.com/docs/253759

Additionally refer to the following doc too:

Title: How to configure Windows NT and Windows 2000 security to enable the Backup Exec service account to protect data in a domain network environment

Hope this helps. If not, revert with details on the steps followed.
