Can a 9.1 server backup a 10.0 server?

We have a new server that we would like to load 10.0 on with the DLO option to backup clients. Our current BE server is 9.1 and I am wondering if I would be able to back the 10.0 server. Or am I better off trying BE 9.1 on the new server. Thanks.

Why not have the new server back itself up as well as the clients?

Why do it over the wire?

Hello,

As mentioned in the previous reply please take a local backup of the 10.0 server.
From 9.1 server you will not be able to backup a 10.0 server.
