Can't backup GRT Data for Exchange 2010

I have GRT enabled on my Exchange backup and have my Backup server on a Windows 2008 R2 machine with the Exchange Management tools installed and have gone through this checklist:

Ensure all the requirements mentioned below are met :
1. Backup Exec Account used for backup must have an active mailbox on the exchange server.
2. The mailbox should not be hidden from the Global Address List
3. Backup Exec "Logon Account" is an explicit member of Local Administrators group in the Exchange Server
4. Backup Exec "Logon Account" is "Unique" inside the Exchange Organization.  See  "How to confirm that an Exchange mailbox name is unique within the Exchange organization when configuring Backup Exec to back up Exchange mailboxes"

5. Make sure the Exchange 2010 Management tools are installed on the Backup Exec server.
6. Make sure the ID used by Backup Exec is added to the Organization Management group of Exchange Role Based Access Controls (RBAC).

But still can't see GRT Data on a restore. There are no errors when the Full Backup occures. Everything is green. But when I look at the Restore for a mailbox item, the backup windows says none when I select the backup file.

I can go to storage and I see the backup data is there but can't access the GRT. I also have a case open for this as well and still am not getting an answer.

What version of Backup Exec are you using?

If the restore is from a tape backup run a duplicate backup to tape.  see http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO12695  and then try the restore again.

I am using Backup Exec 2012 and the backups are on a USB hard drive.

Did you have aofo enabled on the backup job? If you did sometimes this causes problems with an Exchange GRT restore.   Please post the job log for this backup that you are trying to restore from.

Are you using AOFO in your job at all?

One tech had me turn it off. And another said to turn it on. I have done it both ways and still have the same results. Just got off the phone with another tech and am running a backup right now with his changes so we will see what I get.

It seems that the ese.dll was not loading correctly. The tech renamed the Backup Exec folder located in C:\Temp and then reran the exchange backup. This recreated the backup exec folder and the ese.dll and now I see the GRT Data in my Exchange 2010 backups.
