Can't start a cleaning job

Hi,

I have a Sony SDX-700V AIT drive and I've put a cleaning tape in the drive, but the clean option on the Device tab is greyed out. How do I start a cleaning job? Thanks.

You cannot schedule a job for a standalone drive, only for a Library/loader

Just insert the cleaning cartridge. The drive will recognize it and run one pass of the cleaning "media", then eject the cartridge. Check off one use on the label. When all check boxes are full, throw the cartridge away and start using a new one.
