Hi,

Does a cancelled job in backup exec start over or pick up where it left off when re-ran?

Thanks

A cancelled job means exactly that: It is cancelled.  That instance of the job is gone.  It cannot be restarted.  However, if you still have the job, you can re-submit it to run again.

That is what I thought as well. Someone else I work with was under the impression if it cancelledm it could then restart at the point of cancelled.

Sounds like an idea for the product to add a way to pause a job and continue it at a later point. That would be helpful.

Thanks for the confirm on the cancel job.

If enough people give it a thumbs up, it may be included in a future release
