We still would suggest that there be One job per server or two servers at the most.

If that seems as too tedious a job, you can try doing the following:
If you know which server that is (assuming its the same server everytime that the connection fails.), you can delete the selection of that particular server from this existing Big list. Then create a new Job only for this particular server. So you will now be having 2 jobs instead of one. One running on the existing selection list , Excluding the Problem Server. And one only for the problem server. So even if your backup job for the problem server fails the rest of the Servers will still get backedup successfully.
