Due to an over site on my part I had to recreate our dedpulication folder as I need more than 2TB of storage and create the initial volume as an MBR disk. I deleted the old dedupe folder from within the Backup Exec manager, created a new GPT volume >2TB and when I try to create the dedupe folder it gives me the error:
An error occured while creating the deduplication storage folder.
The data portion is pointed to the new volume and the database portion is pointed to a different drive and different folder than the last dedupe folder's database path.
Ideas?

I figured it out. The problem was the objects created due to client side dedupe. As soon as I removed those things were fine.
