Cannot get BE 2010 R2 installer to run on Win 2008 R2

We have the DVD mounted in the server.  The server is a brand new installation of Windows 2008 R2.  Two Intel Quad Core CPUs, 8 GB of RAM and 800 GB free on C:\.

Running D:\Symantec\browser.exe fails with:

"Error 193 loading DVD browser plugin D:\bin\BrowserOps.dll %1 is not a valid 32 application."

Then ran: D:\BE\WinNT\Install\BEx64\setup.exe per this article, http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH125682 and received:

"Unable to load D:\BE\WinNT\Install\BEx64\Install\Media\Bin\ResDll_EN.dll.  Error %1 is not a valid Win32 application."

I then drilled further in to run: D:\BE\WinNT\Install\BEx64\Install\_setup.exe

I received, "D:\BE\WinNT\Install\BEx64\Install\media\bin\resdll_EN.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or teh software vendor for support."

Hi

Philip can you please confirm if you have same issue after downloading the 3.21 GB file for which we have given link on post above & after downloading it you cannot install this version & does it give the error

"Error 193 loading DVD browser plugin D:\bin\BrowserOps.dll %1 is not a valid 32 application."

Then ran: D:\BE\WinNT\Install\BEx64\setup.exe per this article, http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH125682 and received:

Thank You

I had the same issue... I think it comes from when trying to join together the 4 files to create one large ISO.

I then downloaded the full ISO and life was good again!
