On an Exchange backup I receive this error:

The job failed with the following error: Cannot log on to MAPI with the specified credentials. Review the resource credentials for the job, and then run the job again. For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-766
 

Other backup jobs work though. Device driver has no problems. I ran all updates. The backup service account is not locked out. It's not hidden from the GAL and has all permissions and is in the correct group memberships. I ran the backup exec support tool and the only error is:

If you log-on to the media server as the BESA, can you open Outlook and send and receive EMail?

...have you tried to create another uniquely named account and use that for the backup to test?

I take it that the BESA also has delegated rights to Exchange itself?
