At one point I had installed Sharepoint server on my media server, and I guess it automatically added the Sharepoint DB to the selection list. I have since uninstalled it from the machine and I started getting hit with failed jobs saying "resource not found" the resource it was reffering to was the Sharepoint DB. Looking at the selection list, it's nowhere to be found when browding the filesystem (because it isn't there) but when I look at "Resource order" or "Resource credentials" there is a listing for "Microsoft SQL Server 'SHAREPOINT'"
How can I get rid of it? I need to keep the MS SQL agent running for other DB's...
I don't have the Sharepoint agent installed.

In the selection screen, click on View by Detail and check whether your Sharepoint is listed in any of the lines. If it does, delete it.
