Cannot see tape library

Hi,

I have a windows 2000 server with BE10.d installed with the "library support" option enabled.
Connected to the server is an HP Storageworks 1/8 LTO960 Autoloader. The unit works fine when it is used as a sequential standalone device, however, when I switch it to random mode (For library) and disable the unit in removeable storage BE redetects about 15 instances of an 960LTO drive in device configuration wizard, but only shows one device in standalone drives. The library node is not listed in the device configuration wizrd and the node is empty under devices.

The unit it is on the BD HCL and the unit has passed the HP Diagnostics check.

Anyone know how I can get the device to be seen as a Library?

Thanks,

Niall.

Hi,

Is the robotic library properly detected in Windows device manager?

Make sure that the firmware is latest.

Disable the removable storage service in Windows.

Install latest devuce drivers. If using BE version 10d refer:
