Cant Delete Job

I had a duplicate job that I had to cancel. The job was a duplicate of a full back up, and was created with in a policy. The job partially cancelled, but veritas thinks its still running. So far the job hasn't caused problems for the daily backup jobs. I can not delete the job or edit the job before or after deleting it from the policy. As of now it shows "running" in the job monitor. Events show that the job was cancelled. I'm wondering if the only fix for this is creating a new sql database.

I'm having a similar problem w/ BE on one of my servers. The only way I've found to cancel the job was to stop/restart the service. I'm still looking for the correct answer, but thought it might help in the interim.

yes please stop the services and restart them and verify whether you edit the job
