Cant backup more then 1GB to removable drive

I'm using an atapi Iomega REV with latest drivers. If I backup data under 1GB the backup job completes but if I try to backup anything more, the job fails. The test run log reports "Capacity check status : Failed" in Media Capicity Check section. I have used NTBackup to carry out a test and have successfully backed up 4.8GB to the REV drive.

Any ideas?

Please refer the following technotes.
Title:
Test run operations of a backup job that could run successfully may fail with a media capacity error because compression is not factored in to test backup operations.

Test Run job fails with error: "Final error: 0xa0008703 - Job failed running its test run. See logfile for details" even when "Media capacity check to complete individual job" is unchecked

However if you specify the error with which the actual job fals, we can troubleshoot it accordingly.
