Cant install Veritas on windows 2003 64bit

We have a new server that I would like to move Veritas onto. Its Server 2003 64 bit.

When I launch Veritas installer I get This installation package is not supported by the IA64 processor type...

I have downloaded the version from the update site.

Does it work on 64 bit ? or should I be doing something else.

Hello,

Please note that we cannot install Backup exec on win 2003 64 bit server.

However, you can backup the remote Win 2003 64 bit server.
