Cant open restored Files

Dear All
I am using Backup Exec 9.1 on windows 2003. Every thing working fine and once I restored files from tape, the files are not opening. some charectors added infront of the file. I think its encrypted and not decrypting. Is there any way I can do this...

I didnt got any error messge it restored successfully, only thing it added some charcters infront of the original name

We using desktop agent and desktop files backit up on server and do a tape backup. I restored these files from tape.
Hope I did it on correct way !

Since you have restored the file to the storage location now try using desktop agent to restore these files and then verify the result.
