Catalog data retention from an upgrade of Backup Exec?

I just (carefully) upgraded our 10d server to 12.5 successfully.  I see our existing backup jobs; however, I'm not clear about whether our existing catalog data were imported as well - it did back stuff up, 2 times, during the upgrade process.

I inherited this system recently, so I'm just getting familiar with it.  I want to be sure the boxes of tape backups we have will still be recognized and useful.

It should be imported.

If you go into the media view, and find an old piece of media, right-click it and choose restore data. If you are able to browse its contents in depth, you have the catalogs for it. If not, then you don't.

That's assuming your catalogs weren't truncated or purged before the upgrade.
