Catalog not hitting all files?

I have a tape with a file on it that I want to restore. When I catalog the tape, the file that I am looking for does not show up. The tape contains data from several servers/workstations and it seems that most of them show up but the machine that I am looking for is not in the Restore list. I know that the data was backed up onto this tape from the Job Log.

I've tried renaming the Catalog folder and running the catalog job again but to no luck. Any suggestions?

If you have created an empty catalogs folder, and cataloged without the "Use Storage Based Catalogs", what you see is what is on the tape.

Are you positive that THAT run of the job backed up the machine in question? on THAT tape volume?
