I am trying to restore a tape created on one server windows 2003 server (BEv10) to a new sever Windows 2003 BR v10 and 10d - I can inventory the tape but catalogue just seems to load and run and run and run - there is no % complete or byte count - I have left it once for 20 hrs + and now have loaded backup 10d and trying again but with what looks like to be the same effect.
How long should a catalogue of a tape take - its AIT2 50Mb - tape is 36Mb full - and any idea what the problem is.
