Hello,
When configuring storage devices in Backup Exec 2012, there is an option for Cloud Storage providers.
Does anyone know of Cloud Storage Providers in Australia that are compatible with Backup Exec 2012?
Thanks
Peter

No Peter, unless you change your backup software.
The only other alternative I can think of would be as follows:
1. Pay for a VM on a cloud platform with enough disk space to handle backups based on deduplication.
2. Install BE 2012 on this cloud VM.
3. Install the CASO option on your current backup media server and use optimized dedupe to backup locally and then duplicate to the cloud VM.
From a BE perspective, this is the only other option.
Thanks!

Hi,
Nirvanix was the Cloud Storage provider for BE but they went bang last year. I also believe that BE will stop supporting this in the next couple of years. Will find the link and post.
Thanks!

Thanks Craig.
Shame really, as i would have liked to do on prem backups and cloud based backups using the one product.
Are there any other alternatives that you are aware of?
