Hello all,

I have the following scenario: There are two server that they are in a cluster active/passive. In the server active we install BE 2012. Attached to this server there are a robotic library connected via SCSI cable. All the enviroment works (after a hard work). We use SQL server express that comes with the product.

The question is the following: How can I make a cluster of BE 2012 in both servers? The idea is if the active server fails, we must be connect the library to the passive server and then active the server, but what happens with the database and catalogs? How can I create an automatic procedure to both databases of BE2012 are updated?

Regards,

Here is an article that can give you basic point. The article was written for 11d and apart for the new OS's and Be versions nothing much has changed in requirements section.

Additionally, make sure that the device (RL) is also shared beween the 2 servers.
