Compatibility Confusion

Hello

I am setting up the backup system on a new Win2003 SBS server (Dell SC1420 with CERC SATA 6ch RAID - 2 SATA HDD in RAID0).

I want to purchase a Quantum DLT V4 internal SATA tape drive and connect it to the unused SATA controller on the motherboard. But I am confused about support for this tape device in Backup Exec 10.

Document ID: 279944 states there are new drivers available for the Quantum DLT-V4 SATA drive. But the compatibility list at http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/274347.htm states that there is a limitation (IDR will not work) as there are only OEM drivers available.

Which document is correct?
Can I get full functionality using the SATA version of this tape drive?

Thanks
