Compatible with LTO-2 Drives?

We are running BE 8.5 and need to know if it will support a Dell LTO-2 drive. The LTO-1 drives are listed in the compatibility list, but neither sales or tech support could confirm if the LTO-2 was supported. Has anyone tested one?

We just order the Dell PowerVault 122T LTO 2 tape library,and I am having issues getting Veritas BackUp Exec 8.5 to see the auto loader. I installed the auto loader support with Veritas, and Windows Terminal Server 2000 sees the device just fine. and reports it as have no problems in Device Manager.

Did you ever get the Dell LTO2 library? If so, did you get it working? Anybody else?

I've got BackupExec 8.6, and I have the same problem making it see the 122t LTO-2 autoloader. Have either of you tried installing the Dell-supplied drivers?

8.6 saw the 122t LTO-2 library after I installed the driver update at http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/256251.htm
