this is in prep for be4691RHF52_275909.exe which failed initially saying it needed SP2.
this is on a Win 2K server SP3.
Upgraded from 9.0 to 9.1 so I could patch vuln.
Install runs to the point it says:
Configuring VERITAS Backup Exec. Please wait ...
Then it rolls back.
Error afterwards:
Install Wizard ERROR!
The wizard was interrupted before VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows Servers could be completely installed
Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.
Failures in the bkupinst.log:
08-02-2005,11:32:56 : Failure 3 initializing migration library 0
08-02-2005,11:32:56 : lp_MG_NoUiInit failed with error 3
All BE services are stopped. Have tried this after bouncing the server.
have tried repairing the install and then upgrading. Still backs out at the same point.
I'm running out of ideas.
