Hi There i am having trouble getting veritas to recognise my tape backup device, it is a Sony AIT-2 turbo, i have made sure that it is on the right scusi target id, i have reinstalled veritas, Windows can see the device and i can use ntbackup to backup to tape in windows, i have installed the latest veritas drivers, but still no luck, Can anybody out there please help me on this.

Please refer to the HCL and check if the drive is listed in it:


Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers (tm) 9.x (9.0, 9.1) Hardware Compatibility List. Includes HCL information for supported drives, libraries, virtual tape devices, fibre-channel HBAs, switches, routers/bridges, and iSCSI components. For printing purposes, the latest version of Acrobat is recommended.

If its not listed, then install the OEM drivers and check the results.
