Connaction failled on Linux Remote Agent.

Hi i have Backup Exec 10 revision 5484 for windows 2003 EE and i have a 5 servers running Linux with RedHat 2.1 AS and RedHat 4.0 AS with the last updades.

I use the last linux backupexec agent like you can see

But a week ago until now i receive this error on one server !!!!!! But the backup is done i see on the log that files and directories are backuped.

Errors:

Job ended: quinta-feira, 13 de Julho de 2006 at 5:25:05
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000fe30 - A communications failure has occurred.
Final error category: Server Errors

Backup- HOSTXXXXX/storage V-79-57344-65072 - The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.

I don't have any exchanger server on my backup job.

Another information is last night the backup runs with no errors and i don't do anything i check the processes and i don't have any (defunct) process agent.be and when the problem happens i have a defunct process.

i see the processes with this command
ps -eo pid,comm | grep agent.be

Hi Jose,

The Backup Exec Version 10.1 build 5629 is the latest version of Backup Exec.

* Start the installation over the existing installation. You need not uninstal the earlier version.
