Creating media set for removable HD storage

Not applicable

I'm trying to setup a media set for HD's designated for monthend offsite backups.  Currently I have Backup Exec 2012 backing up my file data to a disk-to-disk HP storage through iSCSI.  I would like to add a media set containing removable hard drives that are designated G drive.  Is this possible?  As of now I add disk-based storage but each HD is an individual storage.  Thanks

Sure.  Just plug in your removable drive to the media server.  Do not assign a drive letter to the removable drive.  Once this disk is recognised by the media server, just create your storage as normal.

If you are thinking of rotating your removable disks, see my article below
